Here's what some readers have said about BerZerker. Some were just trying to be nice, others were trying to be funny and still others were perhaps just trying to be mean; but the quotes are accurate nonetheless...

This zine is a hip-hop cybernetic joyride of a wambambalicious catastrophic monkey lion.

-Rob aka Pots

I enjoyed the read a lot! It was a cool look into a very cool guy's life. I am just totally blown away by the fact that you knew you were gay since 2nd grade.

-Andrew (djtumbleweed.com)

Very well packaged. Very well written. I never knew you had kids or defects. My roomate's friend was born without any asshole; consider yourself lucky.

-Bobby aka Suj0

I loved it and I'm not even gay..

-Tim Kerrick (toplesscook from LiveJournal)

When the above-quoted Tim recommended that a friend order a copy: You know, I just might! A gay punk from Seattle may have just the perspective I need to get through this year (ani difranco seems to work pretty well) and your opinion comes highly recommended!

-varsitynj from LiveJournal

Your zine is ok. Not bad, you just gotta be in the right mood to read all about someone elses life.

-ryanstamen

BerZerker is very cool! Love the format / content / style / everything.

-Kevin, publisher of Burning Jelly

BerZerker was very sweet and funny and it actually touched me ... I'd love to see more of your work!

-Josh, publisher of Negative Capability

I got the zine today. It's really good. I just finished reading it.

-loops_of_fury

The cover looked pretty good, but you didn't do that part, did you? ... What's with the postcard with the skanky feet? Did that idea come from some fucked up fetish you have?

-t-bone

I looked at your magazine. Very interesting. Nice mag ... I was anticipating a more edgey treatment and was pleased to see that you can present yourself as a human being. I liked that.

-str8-20

When's the next zine coming out? I want more :P

-synexic

Your zine is great, although I found the stories about your many bodily faults much more interesting than those about your gay experiences. To each his own.

-soul

I started reading your zine. Good shit man. That should sell. I like it! ... I loved that last story [,Campout at UGA, like where you said,] "...get this. I pretended like I didn't notice." ... THAT was great.

-stevierichards

Did i tell you your zine was elite?

-Jim

I got yur shit today man. Cool zine. It's pretty rad. I'm serious.

-khemkid19

Everyone has fucked up childhoods; why should I want to read about yours?

-Bob from Tempe

I like your 'zine very much. I don't say this lightly; I find most such projects to be excessively masturbatory and self-aggrandizing ... You move easily between voices, and your style remains more or less conversational and confident while avoiding the cutesiness that "creative writers" affect to justify their ignorance of grammar and syntax.

-Joshua

For the most part I found your zine to be extremely trite, self-indulgent ... The writing is what I would expect from a fifteen year old and not an adult of questionable age ...I sincerely wish you well in the next endeavor of your zine. There is potential there.

-Jock^Bro

As chief editor of The Rolling Stone, I can honestly say that my magazine is now being threatened by a smalltime zine based in Seattle.

-Doink

It rocked.

-JonBoon

I enjoyed the stories, especially your "asshole" story. I still want to see a picture of it!

-Gooch

I just read a bunch of shit from your zine; you're such a loser hahaaha. I threw it across my room onto my chair and wiped my hands off after touching it cus I felt dirty; you probably wiped your nutsack on it. I liked your writing style though.

-Chronicle

Dude, you're a good writer. I expected it to be lame, and not interesting, but I found myself wanting to read every story, and didn't stop till I had finished every word. You have had a rough life, but I see a great outcome.

-Zippie

Loved ur zine by the way, im kinda inspired to write one honestly.

-Chris D

lol @ your zine.. i cant believe that anyone reads it.. honestly. most people find people who do that to be pretty arrogant.. we dont need a fucking news report about your life.

-Rex
